John Argenti
(Global Strategic Planner; based in the U.K.)

John Argenti prepared his first strategic plan in 1963 -- some years before any book on the subject was published. Some of the lessons he learnt then were very painful and that led him to write a book, Corporate Planning: A Practical Guide, in 1968. Immediately calls for his advice poured in from companies all over the world, prompting him to establish himself as a consultant.

Following his consulting experience in various companies, he published another book. That brought in more clients, and more books, articles and lectures all over the world followed. In Kuala Lumpur, Tunku Abdul Rahman awarded John the nation's Annual Management Medal.

John's depth of experience is unique. He has personally introduced strategic planning to dozens of companies and nonprofit organizations -- covering, in his words, "everything from a Paris fashion house to a Mexican steel conglomerate".

Thirty years ago, he condensed his rich experience into a highly disciplined system called The Argenti System of Strategic Planning (www.argentisys.com) which has been purchased by 2000 organizations around the globe. This must be the world's most popular process for developing strategic plans.
